Revcel

I just had a rather devilish idea for a fan-fic...

Sort of a Secret Invasion-type storyline where the Bizjarran Empire of Shades of Grey under Grand Emperor Ravcel have just become aware of the DCU and its rather...dickish attitude towards the children of villains. They come up with the idea to liberate the DCU from its backward ideas, and visit various children of villains and most of them refuse to join. Finally honing in on Raven and Jericho, they offer Jericho the choice really on the flip of a coin, but he refuses. So, they Alaric the city of Los Angeles, take Raven to their empire, and leave a message in several human languages warning of their ultimate invasion.

The DCU gets a sort of ennui, until the mages discover that the sorcery of the Bizjarran Empire cannot be undone, even by Timothy Hunter's full powers. Then, it's panic week, only the Bizjarrans have been readying some unpleasant surprises for the DCU. This, BTW, is around the time of Infinite Crisis. The DCU discovers that a corpse dressed in a Superman costume is dumped on Clark Kent's doorstep (Superboy-Prime). Now things really get hairy, until a sudden rip is detected over virtually every inhabited planet in the DCU. The inhabitants have only one hour before a string of asteroid bombardments scythe into virtually every world inhabited, including asteroids the size of Venus aimed at Apokolips and New Genesis. Mogo is hit by a sorcerous Base Delta Zero that shatters him into pieces, followed by a sudden landing of billions of ground forces on a DCU that just got in a bad situation.

Raven, meanwhile, has been attempting to escape this whole mess, when she discovers that the Emperor of Bizjarra has been psionically linked to her, deducing through examining her contacts with various heroes how to weaken the DCU. She can't escape this contact, either, as Emperor Ravcel is far more powerful a telepath than any DCU character. Superman ultimately figures out where she is, and the JLA manage to arrive on the Imperial Bizjarran homeworld, where General Yohanin promptly beats Superman and the JLA senseless, while the mages are taken out by Bourziznon. A sudden desperation prompts her to tap into her demonic heritage, which is enough to prompt a fight with the Emperor of the Greater Bizjarran Empire, which Raven's raw demonic power loses once it fails to stop a particularly well-timed psionic attack aimed at her in a time of distraction.

The DCU is added to the growing might of Bizjarra's Empire, Raven is de-demoned, and then she meets none other than Deborah bat Omri....
